Lessons:
Lessons are weekly individual meetings where students show what they've been practicing, ask questions, learn theory, and are assigned new material to practice until the next lesson!
Practice is very vital! I suggest students actively practice every day, while paying attention to time signatures and notes. Lessons are most useful when the student is practicing during the week. Practice makes perfect!
In addition:
Thirty minute lesson time is reserved for you, the student once day each week during your scheduled lesson time.
Lengthy discussion during lesson time should be avoided, but feel free to call with any questions or concerns.
Lesson fees are non-refundable.
Books are not included in the monthly lesson fee.
A $10 recital fee is not included in monthly lesson fee.
The study of music is rewarding and enjoyable. Each student will move along quickly, as the assigned material is sufficiently mastered. As lesson are progressive, a student will not move along until the piece is satisfactorily learned.
Learning piano can be a rewarding experience that lasts you a lifetime!
